 »  Technical Description
Structure:  10 x 21 = 210 asymmetrical kpsi open to the right resulting in a width/height ratio of 1:2. Horizontal warps and invisible single weft shoot when viewed from the bath. All wool foundation and knots. No backing. Top and bottom ends are folded over and sewn under.

Use:  Animal trapping, tent decoration.

Ornamentation:  Ak suw gül, lattice pattern, in center field. Top apron only has single minor giyak border. Central rectangular field has repeated diamond pattern border called khamtoz, flanked on either side by  ala ja stripes..

Provenance:   Akhal Oasis, west of Ashkabat, east of the south Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan.
